One of the Most Effective Tools for Volunteer Recruitment a Church Can Use

I still remember being invited to a ministry fair after committing to regularly attending church. At the fair, I agreed to serve on my church's tech team. Shortly thereafter, I was trained in running the soundboard and other areas of the Tech Arts ministry.

The Ministry Fair was held outside the space our church rented immediately following the last service of the day. Tables were set up with handouts, looping videos, and other related materials related to the church's various ministries. It reminded me of the many trade shows I attended as an executive leader in a manufacturing company.

I filled out an "interest card" and was contacted that week to ask questions and learn more about joining the Arts Team. Since then, I've been serving in some capacity.
